4-5 June, CAPS leadership camp 09. It was friggin' awesome I tell you! ZOMG, and Isabelle came which was like xtra xtra fun! (: We were there as facilitators although we were not allowed to sleep overnight. Although the camp was mentally and physically draining, it was fun! I tried very hard to bond with the team (3) although they weren't very enthu during the first day. Hahaha, and my team got black-marked because of attitude problem in the sense that there were some students who spouted profanities like a water tap. O_O They were like "f" you and "f" that in front of us (the facilitators)! But they improved tremendously today after a lecture from us! (: I honestly think that we should credit Warren because it's amazing that he could plan the whole camp (including games, food, time planning, cheers, cheer booklet and more) singlehandedly for 104 student leaders! Ms Tay was nice because she sponsored alot of food for us! :D I say the survival cooking and the amazing hunt and the beach games were like very memorable. Oh and Belle and me dug our whole feet into the sand while we helped the teams take water from the sea! And we didn't bring slippers so we had to stuff our feet with wet sand clinging on it into our socks and then into our track shoes. Super gross! We were all sandy, dirty and smelly so most of us went home to bathe before coming back. The cool thing is that FINALLY, our homes were just a 10 min walk! 8) During the first day, Belle and me tended one station but because of communication error, we ran out of business. Thus, we blasted songs on our phones and started singing and dancing with retarded hand actions. Spastic people! Uber fun, especially when you are just under the night sky! I just realised that I have a hell load of homework to do since our 2 full days were eaten up! :( I plan to finish them by week 2! Somehow with the camp over, I feel so empty and lost. :(
